VaN GoGH!!

Vincent Willem van Gogh
He was born in 30 March 1853 in Groot-Zundert, in the south of the Netherlands
He died on 29 July 1890 in Auvers-sur-oise, France.
Van Gogh was born as the son of Anna C. Carbentus and Theodorus van Gogh a minister of the Dutch Reformed Church.

Arles’ bridge(may 1888)
This painting is about a bridge which can be opened to let ships through.
On a sunny day, an old woman is walking on the bridge and you can see two villages.
The river is small and not fast.
We like him because he is a good painter and his pictures are very interesting. There are lots of different pictures. So we hope that you like him!

Hi! I’m here again and I’m going to talk to you about my last excursion, it was great.
We went to London to see the Belfast HMS (ship) and a walk to see important monuments in the street. The weather was good, some people said that it was going to rain but no it only rained for a few minutes.
That's the introduction and now I’m going to show you some photos and talk about some funny stories ok? =)
All the time the guide was telling us “come closer, come closer” at the end it was very funny. We saw some monuments and we had to write in our quiz. It was terrible. After that we had free time so we ate “the lunch” and we bought a frapuccino in Starbucks, like the other day.
We went to the ship, we enjoyed it because the statues were like real people. More than one girl was scared.
After that we took lots of pictures with our friends and I’ve one with all the people. I’ll show you now.

first weekend at queenswood

On Friday evening we had an Assembly about terrible ghosts, we had fun.

There were some drama, health & fitness, my work was in health&fitness so i had to go up and show my work it was about the nutrition and the physical exercise.

On Saturday, we got up at 8:00 it was really good!

We arrived at Cambridge, it is a nice univertsity. We went shopping all the time and i went with some friends and we bought some presents for our families. After that we went shopping, we ate at MC Donalds, we were very hungry. Later we bought at Starbucks some frapuccinos. They were very good.

I bought a Cambridge jumper and small rugby balls for my brothers....

At 4:00 we left Cambridge to come back to Queenswood. So we arrived here at half past five. And we had half an hour free time, at the normal hour we had dinner.

That night we had disco, it was normal, not very great but it was funny(sometimes not all the time).

All my friends and me went with a pink t-shirt. We danced with many girls from different countries. So we had to speak English...

It finished at eleven o'clock very early i think. What do you think about the time?

We went to the bed at twelve o'clock.

Next day. We didn't go to Thorpe park because it was very expensive £40 and we went last summer, it was funny, but we wanted to have a day to relax...

So we chose the next activities: swimming, computers and table tennis.

In the first activity we swam a lot, normal because in the swimming pool you can't do many things...=)

In computers I spoke with my friends from Spain about the weather, news and something else.

We went to our house at 22:30 and we had to be in our rooms at 23:00 with the lights turned off.

I hope that you enjoyed reading my "first weekend at Queenswood"

Bye Bye!

The weather

hi!

I'm new here in the blogs, so i'm sorry if i make some mistakes.

I'm going to talk about the weather in the UK, it is terrible always raining, cloudy, and there is no sun. I hate that!.

I'm from spain, there the weather is nice, hot and sunny. But it depends because there are some places in Spain where the weather is like the United Kingdom.

Now it is not raining which is strange...

bye bye!
